UCFS Charitable Activity for 2017 Reaches a Record High

WESTLAKE, OH, February 15, 2018 – United Consumer Financial Services Company (UCFS), a leading financing company offering businesses the ability to finance their consumers’ purchases, had a historic high charitable activity involvement from their employees in 2017.

“Our employee activities committee selects a charitable organization for each month and sponsors activities to raise money or other donations for those Every year, UCFS invites employees to support United Way’s annual campaign and provides a ‘Wednesday Jeans Day” throughout the year,” Crawford continued.  groups,” said Susan Crawford, UCFS Human Resources Director.  “Opportunities to participate include raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes, donate products, and make a small charitable donation to wear jeans every Tuesday.  Every year, UCFS invites employees to support United Way’s annual campaign. Each month, several employees champion a charitable organization, some of which are championed more than once a year depending on employee preference.  Organizations supported during 2017 include:

  • Autism Speaks
  • American Cancer Society
  • Greater Cleveland Food Bank
  • Ronald McDonald House
  • The City Mission
  • Lorain County Friendship APL
  • Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief
  • Epilepsy Foundation
  • Adopt-A Family Association
  • United Way of Greater Cleveland
  • United Way of Lorain County.
